The Opportunity: Direct Shakespeare's political tragedy in a production that would not only be seen by a large audience, but also by 2000 area public and private school students. For many of those kids, it would be their first Shakespeare production.

Traversing time while creating a consistent world.  Edwardian suits. Industrial design. Huge sound and music score by my long time sonic compadre, Lindsay Jones. Speakers everywhere. Subwoofers under the seats.  Our shaking of the space had to feel like the shaking of America...uh, sorry, I meant Rome. The set design by Jim Pine and myself, the lighting design by Thomas Hase and the sound design by Lindsay Jones all received Barrymore Awards.
